I've always felt that no one listened to me when I spoke to them. I really wish I could figure out if that is in my mind, or if people really are ignoring me, with no regard for what I'm saying.

What is the difference between listening and waiting your turn to talk?

I try to listen intently to just about anything that anyone says to me. I only wish people would afford me the same kindness. I can see in people's eyes when they're either thinking of something else or figuring out what they're about to say, sometimes even beginning to speak before I'm finished. It has to be one of the most rude things that someone could do.

I don't think that my work/school schedule is helping. I work Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat/Sun and go to school Tu/Th. I don't have any days off!
